Capt Rod was laid back, but committed to a great catch! We booked a 6hr trip and fished 2 spots over that time - about 10/15 min travel time to the first and 30ish to the next, total back about 40ish. Captain Ron was very patient and knowledgeable. He helped as much or as little as you wanted.  We’re fairly experienced so we did more than most but he always offered to help dehook a fish or bait a hook. We caught 2 giant trophy red drums and a bunch of little fish.  He knows where to go and how to monitor the tides.  He noticed some severe weather coming in and made the right call to come back early.  My son (15) and I had a great time.

We went on a quick trip with our two young kids (6,9). Captain Rod was very friendly and patient with us and the kids as we went out to get our bait fish. Unfortunately weather didn’t cooperate, so we had to call it short. He made sure we were safe and comfortable. Would highly recommend to families in the area.
