It was cold and windy, but we still had fun.  No big fish that day but we caught one smallish sockeye salmon.  I will say I was under the impression it would be more “hands on” rather than watching Shaun do the fishing and then just reeling it in (My husband let me do it because it was my birthday), but it was probably the conditions that made it so, or maybe I misunderstand guided fishing? (That could be on me!) He did say it was hard to fish with all the wind.  He seemed very knowledgeable and was super pleasant to be around and his dog Jake was adorable.  Boat had a heater, which made it bearable in the cold weather.  I’m sure if conditions had been better we would have caught lots of good ones. Maybe next time! No complaints.
