We were 77 and 53 years old and fished all our lives. Captain Mike knows how to catch fish. We would have been happy to take kids with him as well. Very friendly. I will rebook with him several times next year! He is not afraid to burn gas to find fish. Keep in mind his boat is 23 feet long and not flashy, if that’s what you want, just a fishing machine.

The goal was to catch fish for my 7-year-old - with the caveat that it was his first saltwater trip. Capt. Mike was very comforting and flexible regarding the trip accommodations. We caught a ton of fish and had a blast. Mike is very knowledgeable and helped answer no less than a billion questions from my inquisitive 7-year-old. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Booked Finn’s up family charter for Father’s Day! Our boys have never been fishing on a boat. We had 2 teens and a 9 yr old and they loved it!! Captain Mike was very helpful and patient with the kids teaching them to fish! They each caught several fish and even some keepers! Overall, they had a great time and great experience for them. We highly recommend!

This was our 2nd time booking with Captain Mike and we are already thinking about when we can do it again. He’s an awesome captain, very knowledgeable, and knows how to have fun! He was wonderful with our 2 children ages 7 and 4. If you are debating on taking this trip, I strongly encourage you to go for it. You won’t regret it!

Thanks Heather! You guys were great… I especially liked the “log book” so the kids could mark down the different fish they caught. You might have a future charter captain on your hands! They both seemed to get a kick out of feeling that rod bend! I’m sure they’ll continue to try and get more names in that book in the future. Looking forward to having you out again!
