I've always dreamed of fishing the waters down south, and this trip provided us with the perfect opportunity. It was a wonderful journey to the lagoon and back; we fished for two hours, had four bites, and caught two tarpon.
wanted a Tarpon and a Snook to check off a bucket list item and have had zero success on my own. Hired theae guys…explained to my. aprain what I was after…and had a Tarpon and a Snook in the boat in the first 30 minutes. The reat of the teip was gravy…and I told my Captain that as well. pressure was off him ai told him. we still boated 3 more Tarpon and 2 more nice Snook. It was relaxing, successful, conversation was great and surpassed all my expectations. Should note that I’m an “unprofessional” guide and I know how to catch fish I’m used to chasing. I had ZERO success on these species and only had success when I hired a professional outfit.

While we only got one bite and no fish, this was a relaxing and calming experience. We enjoyed being the only ones on the boat and didn't feel rushed. We enjoyed the scenery and the ride. My husband cast out a lot and did enjoy being part of the action. The captain was very nice and was prepared with everything ready to go. He changed places and also got input from others out on where we should try. He was very experienced and we would do this again if we ever come back!
We booked a 2 Hour Easy Going Trip, and we got rained out, so we decided to end the trip earlier. The owner was understanding and allowed us to book for another day with better weather conditions AND NO ADDITIONAL COSTS. On top of that, he also drove us back to our hotel! Aside from the business aspect of this. The owner was very helpful, informative, social, and you can tell he loves what he does and wants to ensure a great experience for the customer in every sense. German did his best, but the fish were lazy. We caught one though! You can’t go wrong with a boat ride on the bay and in the lagoon. Hearing all of the sounds in the lagoon and just being there were worth it. Highly recommend!
Spent the morning fishing with Yorman. Great fisherman and great guy too. He was very knowledgeable and we had action all morning. I caught some spanish mackerel and a few small tarpon. I lost a big tarpon which was heartbreaking but that's fishing. I would highly recommend and will use Caribbean Fishing Adventures next time I am in Puerto Rico.
