This was constant action, a lot of average size fish. If you are only after trophy fish, maybe go out deeper, but this was amazing. We caught the snapper slam and caught four species in one hour! Had a great day even though the weather was spotty. Great captain, friendliest I've been out with. Just a gentleman.

Make sure you use sunscreen before you go! Don’t take spray sunscreen on the boat…use it before you go and use lotion to cover everywhere exposed

We had a great time. Hard fishing with wind today. Had great conversation with Joseph on many topics. Well educated and many stories. I think he learned a little about Steel and Plastics and we learned about the keys and fish here. Highly recommend going and spending time with this guide. He won’t disappoint and always remember a bad day fishing beats a good day working!

Our party of 4 had a great time with Captain Joseph. He was ready when we got there, wasted no time, and had us catching fish within about 30 min. We caught numerous keeper snappers, a couple of grouper (released), and a nice sea trout. My 16 yr old grandson, son, and daughter-in-law all caught fish, as did I. We kept 7 for dinner, which we had that evening at Tonio’s, as per Joseph’s recommendation. It was a good day on the water with a knowledgeable, prepared guide.

Had a great time with Captain Joe. He did a great job of communication prior to the trip, including the rebooking necessary due to bad weather. For our charter,He took us out about 7 miles, and put us into a huge pile of fish. Caught a lot of different species while still managing to get 10 great fish for dinner. Probably caught 30+ fish in total. Very patient with us, and was very attentive during the trip. Would highly, highly recommend!

We went out with our two sons and had an incredible time. Captain Joseph was very knowledgeable and personable. He was kind and patient with our boys. Teaching them the proper way to fish and offering feedback and tips throughout the experience. We had a fun carefree and relaxing day of fishing. When we returned Captain Joseph filleted our fish so we could take it to the restaurant to be cooked. The fresh fish was amazing! We highly recommend booking this charter.

Two fishermen and two observers. Captain Joseph was awesome. Actually called and gave us the option to reschedule due to rough waters on our scheduled day, which ended up working out way better.
Caught several fish, but Captain was knowledgeable of more than just fish. Told interesting stories of surrounding islands, birds, coral, other boats, etc...
We'd highly recommend Sandbar Somewhere Charter and will definitely go again when we make it back to the Keys!
