All four of us were first timers fishing on Lake Michigan. There was a 55 year gap in our ages. Everyone had a great time catching fish and appreciating an opportunity to be on the lake. We received the professional support when needed but had the thrill of reeling in the fish.

Capt. Jarod let us know that July is a great time to go out fishing. He said that anytime from mid-July to September is good for fishing. Also the weather was phenomenal. We were only a mile off shore so it was definitely warm with a nice breeze.

You never know how well the fish will bite. I was on two different charters where fish bit quite frequently, this time not so much, but the crew never gave up looking for the fish until it was time to return to the marina. They said they were kid friendly and lived up to their word. It shows they love their job.

This was the first charter fishing trip I've ever done. We came out targeting salmon and steelhead, last call did not disappoint. We got our limit. We got 7 kings, 2 coho and a steelhead. The Capt and mate were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We were very satisfied and if we come out to grand haven again to fish, Last Call will be the charter we go with.

The Captain and first mate was great and very knowledgeable on fishing spots. We caught our limits hours before the time and that was even with many keepers that escaped and little ones released back. We would definitely come back!!

Brian was great to work with. He was able to move our trip by a day because of the conditions on the lake so we could still get out. He was great at communication with us on options and conditions. We had the opportunity to fish with Captain Astro who was great with my two 12 year old boys. We caught six king salmon on our adventure and the boys were beyond stoked. When we come back out next year we will be making reservations again with this great company.

All 6 of us (4 adults and 2 teens) had a great time on the Danel. Both the captain and first mate were highly engaging, thoughtful, and kind. It was a wonderful outing that included landing 6 king salmon! The guys made a world of difference and we would highly recommend booking a trip with these guys.

It took visitors from CA to finally book this fishing trip and I’ve lived in GH for 30 plus years. Each member of our group, ages less than 10 and over 70, caught a fish or two (1 salmon and 5 steelheads). It was an exciting and a perfect day to be on Lake Michigan. This will be an annual outing (at a minimum) going forward. Thank you for a great experience!
