I have fished for 50 years and never before has my reel screamed so much. I booked a half day private trip with my wife and it was non stop action. Capt. Pedro and Victor were the upmost professional team. We trolled and bottom fished and caught 3 species; skipjack, amberjack and red snapper. The highlight was a 75 minute with a 40kg amberjack. My wife as a total novice had a day to remember catching 2 great amberjacks, what a day - thanks Pedro and thanks Victor.

We had a really great time on the Beercuda. Since we are not experienced deep sea anglers, Pedro explained everything to us. The weather wasn't ideal for fishing but thanks to the experienced crew all of us were able to catch some big fish. The biggest and toughest one was an Amberjack. What a fight! Thanks for the Trip!

Brilliant afternoon/evening bottom fishing trip out of Funchal. Pedro and Vitor were skilful, knowledgeable, friendly and patient, helping three sea fishing novices catch amberjack and red snappers.
Boat was well equipped for fishing and Pedro has a great knowledge of local waters with a knack of finding the fish.
Stopped off for squid fishing on way back to harbour.
Would definitely go fishing with the Native Crew again.

My daughters and I had a fantastic morning with Pedro and Victor. Both are so knowledgeable of fishing in Madeira. We caught almost immediately upon leaving the harbour. A nice amberjack on light trolling gear. When we got to the fishing spot we had lots of snapper to 4 kilos and amberjack to 7 kilos. All on squid fished deep. And, as ever with fishing, when we got back to the harbour we lost a huge amberjack right at the harbour mouth. What a great morning! Thank you Pedro and Victor!
