Gulf of Mexico Amberjack Fishing Charters

We will be fishing the Louisiana Gulf Coast. In the mornings, you get to see our marshes, which are estuaries for all kinds of life. We usually travel down the Mississippi River and back up in the afternoon. We catch bait in the morning using cast nets and Sabikis. We then venture out to our oil rigs and will use different fishing techniques for different times of the year. We mainly target Yellowfin Tuna but can target other species too. Fuel is not included and costs $600-$800 for this trip.

Your lines will be in the water after about half an hour of traveling to the best fishing spot. Most trips will start with catching live bait – please let the captain know before your trip if you'd prefer for this to be purchased beforehand. The species you'll target depend on the season, and may include Jack Crevalle, Kingfish, Amberjack, Cobia, Redfish, Tripletail, and whatever else is biting. When you return to the marina, your captain will clean your catch.

A fun, economical trip for small groups who want to go deep sea fishing on a large charter boat with highly experienced captain & crew. Troll out Mobile Bay. See historical sights. Bottom fish for snapper. Bring whatever you want to eat or drink. This is not a private trip. Other groups will be fishing with you.

12 hours on the water give you even more time to catch and enjoy nature. You'll target Tuna, Wahoo, King, and Amberjack.

Come join the crew on this fun offshore trip. Depending on the season and migration of fish, we will be targeting Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Cobia, and Trigger along with a few others. You can also try for Shark to add in some excitement and a great photo opportunity. All bait, license, tackle, and fish cleaning are included. Just bring along a cooler with any drinks and snacks you would like. We look forward to fishing with you.

Target Triggerfish, Vermilion Snapper, and other bottom fish. You're guaranteed to catch fish. Bring the snacks and drinks of your choice and be ready to start the trip at 6:30 a.m. The crew will take care of everything needed for a great day on the water.

Six-hour trip leaving from Dauphin Island Marina or pick up at Fort Morgan. Licenses, bait, ice, and bottled water are supplied. Trips are available 7 days a week when weather permits. Six customers are the legal limit for a trip.

You and captain Eric will fish out of Venice Marina. You can target Yellowfin Tuna almost all year as well as Swordfish. You can catch Wahoo mainly in the colder months and Mahi Mahi in the summertime. Red Snapper is usually also available in the summer.

THE SOUTHERN ANGLER PACKAGE is the ULTIMATE fishing package! At sunrise we will leave the marina and begin the day by fishing inshore, primarily for speckled trout and redfish. Later in the morning we will begin our journey offshore to the oil rigs to fish for Mangrove Snapper, Red Snapper (when in season), and Cobia. This is our BEST package for those who want to prove that they have what it takes to be a true SOUTHERN ANGLER.
