Denison Striped Bass Fishing Charters

If you're not one for early starts, then this afternoon trip is the chance for you to discover the riches of Lake Texoma without ruining your routine. Come aboard at midday and spend 5 hours targeting exciting and delicious Striped Bass. Get ready for a serious battle to land these beauties, before heading home with enough fish for dinner and beyond.

Lake Texoma afternoon fishing trip. I provide all tackle and clean the fish for you as well. Bring weather appropriate clothing and a “Lake Texoma Fishing License”. All trips are on live bait unless otherwise requested.

We will fish for Striper or Catfish. We fish until your limit is caught or 5 hours.

We fish out of 23 ft Center console for Strippers and catfish with live bait and artificial We will also troll and drift fish. up to 4 persons per trip

We bait and set ten (10) 2 hook catfish juglines, then troll huge swimbaits for BIG striped bass, about midway through the trip, we have a bathroom break, then check and rebait the juglines before trolling for striper some more. Easy relaxing trip for any age, any skill level. After pics, I clean and bag your catch. DO NOT EXPECT a limit of smaller striper. We are after fish two feet long or bigger, and you can only keep 2 striper per person that size.

Winter fishing trip will be dead sticking artificial baits or trolling umbrella rigs. Live bait available upon request. Start times are flexible Winter fishing is one of the best times to catch trophy sized Stripers. We will drift big soft plastic baits in areas that big fish hang out or troll big umbrella rigs around flats and river edges. If the bite is slow we may switch over to live bait. I keep rods rigged for all 3 techniques readily available every trip to make sure we are prepared for everything.

We troll huge lures to find bigger fish, but sometimes we use bait. It depends on the fish that day, but we try to focus on the bigger fish. We have caught many over 30 inches, but 22 to 28 inches is the average.
