Virginia Beach Striped Bass Fishing Charters

Exploring the nearshore waters out of Norfolk, VA, will see you waste no time in going fishing. Within minutes, you'll cast your line, as you try bottom fishing and trolling for beauties such as Cobia, Redfish, Striped Bass, Black Seabass, Amberjack and Spanish Mackerel. Explore a range of fishing grounds, test out a range of techniques, and head home with plenty of meat to enjoy.

Join Captain John for 6 hours of trolling. This trip has a capacity of 27 people. After six people there is an additional per person charge. You will mostly target Stripers and Rockfish. This trip is seasonal, so make sure you book your spot on time. Your fishing equipment and bait are included. In case you need any help, the first mate will be there to assist you.

This is primarily bump, trolling or power drift fishing with the trolling motor. We will be drifting live eels for trophy catch and release striped bass! This is the way you catch a trophy striped bass of a lifetime!

Break out your warm jackets, the Striped Bass season is here at last! This trip is a true angler's dream! You'll leave in the morning and be on the hunt for schooling fish, as you troll with an assortment of high-end lures and rigs with top-of-the-line rods and reels. 'Havoc' has heat and hot coffee inside, so don't worry about being cold while searching for the fish, but be sure to wear plenty of layers for fishing as it is much more comfortable to be able to take off a layer than to wish for another.

On this trip you can expect to be fishing inside of Rudee Inlet and most likely not going into the ocean. We will be targeting redfish, black drum, and speckled trout. The entire waterway of Rudee inlet is a no wake zone, making this trip a great option for kids and elderly fishermen.

Catered to begginer/intermediate fisherman and families. This trip targets easier to catch species and focuses on simple fishing techniques as well as hands on guidance from the captain and crew. Please note mate works for tips only and 20% is customary in charter fishing.
