Mims Black Drum Fishing Charters

Departure times are flexible, depending on time of year. Redfish, Seatrout, and Black Drum are good year-round. From Late July/August, and well into October, you can experience the local Redfish spawn and catch fish up to 40 lbs on light tackle in large schools of fish. The Trout, Snook and Black Drum bite can be exceptional as well. All tackle, fishing licenses, and ice/water are provided. Feel free to bring your own snacks and beverages.

A $550 fee for starting the day fishing for 4 people. It's 5 hours of great Trout, Redfish, and Black Drum (when we can find them) fishing on the inland waterways of the Indian River and Mosquito Lagoon. We'll use live bait, lures, or whatever it takes to catch our target off guard. While we're looking for fish you might spot some of the local wildlife – dolphins, manatees, turtles, and numerous birds are readily viewable.

Six hours on the water fishing the flats in the Titusville area. Target fish includes Snook, Trout, Redfish, and Black Drum. Bring your own lunch. This is not a recommended trip for the summer months, on top of the heat we often get early afternoon storms. .

This 3 hour trip offers guests a shorter experience but still the possibillities of catching some quality fish! Maybe on a time crunch and just want to get on the water for some quick action or even just new anglers who may want to get warmed up to the experience and try their luck. We will still fish all the same tactics and most locations. Expect to use live bait and or artifical lures on light to medium heavy action gear.

The first few hours of light in the morning can be a fantastic bite. This 4-hour charter is for that fisherman or family that doesn't have the time to be on the water all day but still wants the opportunity to catch some fish. Inshore fishing can be pretty productive in these first few hours after sunrise. We will be fishing the inshore waters near New Smyrna Beach, Edgewater, and Oak Hill, primarily looking at fishing structure and the backwaters of this unique fishery.
