Huntington Beach Calico Bass Fishing Charters

Travel to Catalina Island and target Yellowtail and White Seabass. Calico Bass is a great backup and can be caught almost all of the year.

Fish the local coast of Orange County with its reefs, man-made structures, kelp beds, and points. Trips are anywhere around where the fish are biting. Favorite spot is the Santa Ana River Jetty and Newport Artificial Reef, both are famous for very large White Seabass, Yellowtail, and Halibut. Calico Bass pretty much live at all these spots and are really fun to reel in. The bonus side to this trip is that your fishing time is maximized.

This trip is excellent whether as an introduction to fishing or just a day on the water. You'll be fishing for Bass, Barracuda, and Rockfish, and if you're lucky, Yellowtail or Halibut will come over the rail as well. Note: Customers must purchase a California fishing license prior to the trip.

Check-in is 1 hour prior to departure. The price for this 6-hour fishing trip includes bait, and fishing equipment is available for rental. At an additional cost, you can also get fishing licenses, gunny sacks, and fish cleaning.

This trip fished the local shelf for a variety of bottom fish and pelagics depending on seasonal availability.

Catalina Island. We provide the full setups for a fun day with lots of miscellaneous fish and targeting whopper Yellowtail or Tuna. Or we can go paddy hopping, flylining or bottom drifting (You're in charge). Fuel is included. You can stop for lunch in Avalon or drop off the girls to shop a while while the boys continue to fish. Back to our dock in Long Beach by 7pm.
