Target Stripers on Lake Texoma with one of the most experienced guides around. You'll spend 5 hours on the water and may also catch Crappie, Catfish, Smallmouth, and Largemouth Bass. Just let your captain know what you're after and he'll get out. Make sure to purchase a fishing license beforehand and feel free to bring drinks and snacks.
The price for the first two guests is $400 and $100 for each additional guest. The trip lasts between 4 and 6 hours, giving you the chance to explore freshwater as well as inshore spots and target Striped Bass.
We will fish for striper or catfish. We fish until your limit is caught or 5 hours. Our departure time varies, but we leave at daylight.
We bait and set ten (6-10) 2 hook catfish juglines, then cast topwaters for white & striped bass, about midway through the trip, we have a bathroom break & check and rebait the juglines before trolling for HUGE striper. Easy relaxing trip for any age, any skill level. After pics, I clean and bag your catch. *DO NOT EXPECT a limit of smaller striper but we should catch plenty of eater sized fish casting. We are trolling for fish 2 ft long or bigger, and you can only keep 2 striper per person that size.
We troll huge lures to find bigger fish, but sometimes we use bait. It depends on the fish that day, but we try to focus on the bigger fish. We have caught many over 30 inches, but 22 to 28 inches is the average.
If you want to load up the freezer with fresh catfish fillets, then this is the trip for you. We will drop multiple jug lines along ledges in the lake. Each jug line has 5 hooks spaced 3-5 feet apart. The guide provides everything except your fishing license and whatever you want to bring to eat and drink. Your catch will be filleted and bagged at the close of the trip for free. This trip has a 6 person max.
