Placida Cobia Fishing Charters

On this #1 booked trip you will be heading up to 45 miles into the Gulf of Mexico and bottom fishing as well as a possibility of trolling over many of the reefs, wrecks, and rock ledges where you will be fishing for a variety of fish including Red Grouper, Gag Grouper, Lane Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Barracuda, and occasional Mahi and Tuna. These fish will wear you out so be ready for a great day of fishing out in the Gulf Of Mexico.

Take a ride to what fishing and relaxing is all about. Enjoy the local culture and views in beautiful Charlotte harbor, targeting snook, redfish and spotted sea trout. Please of other species also come to feed once we are on the water.

A longer trip allows you to spend more time fishing for what you want to catch. A standard trip involves starting inshore and moving in the Gulf of Mexico, with the targeted species being Amberjack, Redfish, Grouper, Snapper, Cobia, and more. Rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price, as are the necessary fishing licenses.

Ride 55+ miles out in search of Red Snapper and spend 12 hours filling the cooler. Trips are seasonal and are only available while Red Snapper is in season.

This full day trip will let you target nearshore Snapper and Grouper or inshore Snook, Trout, and Redfish. If the weather's fine, you can also choose to do a bit of both! The gear is supplied onboard. Pack snacks, drinks, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a camera. There is cold water onboard.

This 6-hour expedition is available all year because around Englewood, fish never sleep! Meet up with Capt. Doug and let him show you around some of the productive fishing grounds in the area, where anything from Cobia and King Mackerel to Snook and Redfish can be on your to-catch list. Red Snapper fishing is also very good when it's in season. Come aboard with your favorite drinks and food and head out.

On this 8-hour expedition, you can chase just about everything that’s biting – Amberjack, Cobia, Grouper and Snapper species, Redfish, Snook, Spanish Mackerel, and the list goes on. Quality tackle, licenses, and catch cleaning are included in the trip's price, so bring a supply of drinks, snacks, and food, and you're ready to fish to your heart's content.

All of the tackle and live bait required for reeling in some Snook, Trout, Redfish, Tripletail, and some nearshore Snapper is provided for you. Additionally, there is also cooler with water and ice as well as space for any drinks and snacks you want to bring with you. Just take your polarized sunglasses, a hat, and some sun protection with you to fully enjoy this adventure!

Explore the inshore waters and target a variety of species. You will pursue Redfish, Snook, and Trout. Anglers of all ages and skill levels are welcome to join. Just pack your food, drinks, and sun protection. This is a catch and release trip. 4 anglers max.

Enjoy the day with Captain Jared while chasing massive tarpon through boca grande pass and along the beachs. Includes lunch on the water around noon.
