Chesapeake Bay Cobia Fishing Charters

Cobia fishing out of Solomon’s MD, we go there for a month and mainly target cobia but if they aren’t biting well there is plenty bluefish and spanish mackerel around. Message us for more details!

Summer is starting to heat up and so are the Spanish Mackerel and Blue Fish! Striped Bass season might be closed for a short period in time but this time of the year is the best time to catch an alternative species! We have even seen Cobia and Red Drum during this time period! Book your next adventure on the Chesapeake Bay! This trip price does not include gratuity for the mate.

Start your morning by going fishing Nearshore and Inshore for Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Sharks, and Redfish. Capt. Kurt will supply rods, reels, tackle, and fishing licenses, you just need to bring your favorite snacks and drinks.

Depending on the season, you'll be able to troll, chum, live line, or bottom fish. In any case, you're bound to have a good fishing time.

This is a full day on the water of hands-on light tackle and/or fly fishing. Be prepared to cover a lot of water and fish hard!

Bottom fishing for anything you can put in the cooler and take home to eat. Can customize trip to meet your expectations and desires.

This is a one angler and guide trip. Great opportunity to “tune up” your casting and fly-fishing skills. You will be the only one fishing and have the boat to yourself. We will be fishing our Hewes 21 Redfisher. It is equipped with Garmin electronics (Hummingbird side scan coming this spring), a 300HP Yamaha and a Motor Guide trolling motor. Rod holders…GOT THEM!!! Room for 8 fly rods plus tons of storage. Bring you own equipment or use all our latest ORVIS rods.

An experience like no other offered We will start the trip fishing for various species in the bay from cobia to sheepshead and flounder as well as catching bait for the main event which starts about 7pm when we will anchor and begin fishing for the oceans apex predators (Sharks) This trip will leave you adrenaline pumped and with lifelong memories.

Take a boat ride around the cheaspeke bay Site casting for cobia. We specifically target cobia swimming on top with jigs and live eels. We aslo catch and release big red drum . Trolling for spanish mackerel and blues .
