If you'd like to go offshore but don't want to do the full day 9 hour trip, Tamarindo Sportfishing offers a 7 hour 3/4 day trip. There is time to go after Billfish offshore with time leftover to catch your dinner! The price includes a 13% tax in accordance with Costa Rican law.

Perfect for when you want a couple more hours of good fishing. Reel in large catch-and-release species, such as Sailfish and Roosterfish. Or catch as much as you eat of Tuna, Snapper, Mackerel, Mahi-Mahi, and Wahoo. We can prepare sashimi or ceviche right on board to enjoy immediately or filet your catch to take to a local restaurant to prepare a meal for the whole family. Sportfishing is available for up to 5 adult guests. ​ All tours include heavy snacks and drinks.

Full day offshore

Extend your trip by a couple of hours and broaden your options for this adventure. This is an option to do a little of bottom fishing for Snapper and Amberjack, live bait fishing for Kingfish, and also cruise and fish around the beach and Islands. If you choose to go offshore, they can take you fishing for Marlin, Sailfish, Roosterfish, and more.

You'll target Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Tuna, Snapper, and more – the good news is that you can also keep this catch. The crew will clean, fillet, and package it for you onboard. They will also recommend a number of excellent restaurants that will prepare it for you! This trip is seasonal.

This 9-hour trip will provide you with an entire day of incredible adventures, allowing you to try inshore, offshore, and bottom fishing. In this complete tour, the captain will bring you to try different types of fishing and see the vast variety of local sea life. Some of the species you can target include Sailfish, Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, and many more! This trip includes lunch.

Head out in the morning for some deep water pelagic action. You can target Blue and Black Marlin, Pacific Sailfish, or Yellowfin Tuna with a mix of Mahi to the list. Lunch and beverages are included, as well as fishing gear, and catch cleaning.

An 8-hour trip allows more time to target all the exciting species in these waters. Mornings are the prime time to go fishing in this area. Big game fishing targeting species such as Mahi-Mahi, Tunas (black and yellowfin), Sailfish are part of the main goal. If we do coastal fishing, we aim for Rooster fish and Amberjacks.
