Shalimar Flounder Fishing Charters

This is a 5-hour fishing charter in either the bay or the gulf, depending on the sea conditions and your preference. The Captain will contact you a few days ahead of time to discuss where the bite is best, and what the weather forecast looks like for the day you've reserved. Safety comes first so if the seas are rough, you'll fish the bay. Hit the snooze button a couple of times before heading out to spend 5 hours on these productive waters! Generally, bait will be caught at the beginning of the trip, and then you'll move on to exploring the hottest fishing grounds. Here, you will fish for species such as Snappers, Bull Redfish, Groupers, Amberjacks, and Mackerel. Your captain will provide a fishing license for your whole group, as well as top-quality fishing gear.

Spend more time exploring Choctawhatchee Bay, and get ready to hook some world-famous saltwater species. You'll be cruising the plentiful bayous and flats of the bay, which are home to a huge host of fish. You'll be targeting Tarpon, Speckled Trout, Sheepshead, Redfish, Flounder, and plenty more. On this trip, we will be looking and fishing for Redfish, speckled trout, mangrove snapper and anything else that wants to bite in the crystal clear waters of the Choctawhatchee Bay and Destin Pass. Beautiful water and scenery make for an awesome short boat ride across the bay to our favorite spots! We will mainly be fishing with live bait around bridges, docks, and jetty’s for a good bite. Targeting bridges, contours, boat docks and wrecks in the bay. Using all kinds of methods to catch these. Trolling straw rigs, casting jigs rig with plastic trailers or live shrimp and crabs. Limited to 4 people casting at a time.

Enjoy your day on the water however you choose inshore/nearshore. There’s options for everybody in the group/family. We can fish the inshore/nearshore hot spots, snorkel inshore/nearshore snorkel reefs, check out the waterfront bars/restaurants or cool off at crab island/spectre island.
