Gloucester Flounder Fishing Charters

Sharpen your reel and grab your rods! You'll be going after Striped Bass with Captain Nick! If you're an early riser, this 4-hour morning trip is the one for you. It takes place within three miles of shore, but Striped Bass really like to swim near the rocks. You'll get to cast your lure as close as possible! If you bring kids, the trip will be adapted to suit them. The first mate works hard to make your trip enjoyable and as such a 20% gratuity for him will be added onto the final balance. 2 guests max.

This full-day trip is exactly what the doctor ordered for those Flounder fans. It's great for kids and anglers who want to stay inshore and don't want to go too far out. The 'doormats' bite best in and around the harbor from mid-May until late June but you could also go out until December.

Go after the strongest fish in the ocean and fulfill a lifelong dream. Fighting these giants is a lot of work a lot of time and a lot of fun! Additionally, we occasionally hook up to large species of Shark and see whales. The trip starts early in the morning, this is a long day of fishing. Plan on 10+ hours – trips have gone from before sun up to after sunset. We usually hook up with fish in the 300-1000lb category.

On this 3 hour trip, you can choose to fish for a variety of species depending on what is biting. Striped Bass, Mackerel, Flounder, and many other species are all accessible just minutes from the dock. This trip is for anglers of all experience levels looking to fit a fishing trip into their busy schedule. This is also a great trip for families with children to enjoy a few hours together out on the water. As the departure times are flexible, you can also start the trip at 11:00 a.m.

This is a fishing charter for people who also want to scatter a loved one's ashes at sea. Guests are welcome to join in the ceremony or it can be performed & documented by the captain & crew alone. We travel 3 miles offshore, per EPA regulations, and fish along the way. A burial at sea ash scattering ceremony is performed. You will be provided with pictures of the ash scattering & an official certificate of service with all details. Time of day is customizable as an outgoing tide is required.

Inshore trips typically target Striped Bass using light spinning and fly tackle. Other species available on inshore trips include bluefish, cod, flounder, mackerel, and pollock. Since we are rarely more than 10 minutes from fishing, many of the trips we run May - October are 8-hour inshore trips. The 8-hour trips typically run from 7:00 to 3:30ish. These are perfect for family trips, as well as for folks who want to experience the wonderful fishery we have.
