Jacó Broomtail Grouper Fishing Charters

This morning trip consists of 5 hours of fishing for Roosterfish, Snapper, and more. Pineapple and watermelon will be provided, along with everything needed to make a great catch possible.

Join your captain for this 4-hour trip that'll see you cruising inshore and offshore waters. You'll have the chance to sip on some beer as you fish, and will be taking in some incredible Costa Rican scenery, too! You'll be mainly trolling for a huge host of species, including Red Snapper, Broomtail and Gag Grouper, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Amberjack, and maybe even the mighty Blue Marlin. Your trip includes Shimano rods and reels, and a fishing license, as well as snacks and drinks. Snorkeling is also available!

The beauty of fishing out of Jaco is that you don't need to go far for some monster fish. Out of Hermosa and Herradura, you'll discover rich waters just a stone's throw from shore. Head to the Pacific first thing in the morning to take advantage of the cooler water and go after some prized fish. Using live bait, or casting lures like poppers and plugs, you'll go after species like Roosterfish, Jacks, Mackerel, Snapper, Mahi Mahi, and Grouper. Expect an intense battle to get 'em all aboard.

Couldn't get the whole day just for fishing? You can still reach offshore waters and catch Billfish! Make sure to take a good photo because you can't keep these as a trophy. You can also catch Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Snapper, Wahoo, and more. If you're within 10 miles from the marina, the captain can arrange a pickup.

Great trip for families! Spend half the day fishing and the other half snorkeling and enjoying the beautiful Tortuga Island. Included in this tour is the snorkel gear for the group, fishing gear and tackle, lunch, snacks and drinks.

Enjoy the beautiful Costa Rica Sunset in a relaxing cruise from Herradura Bay to Jaco and back. We will serve cold beer and wine along hors d'oeuvres. We'll provide rods and bait if we see birds diving and fish jumping and maybe drip a line down to pick up red snapper or grouper. You'll have you own private cruise for up to 6 people. With an added charge of $50 for each additional person up to 10.

In this activity it is possible to catch many large fish; each day has its own challenges, but the biggest challenge will come when you face an enormous fish.
