Emerald Coast Scamp Grouper Fishing Charters

This is a great trip for groups looking for a bit more fishing time, without spending the whole day at sea. Troll for pelagics like Mackerel or fish for hard-fighting Sharks. If the season's right, you can also sight fish for Cobia or bottom fish for Red Snapper (Snapper are June and July only).

Leave Destin behind and head out to the Gulf of Mexico's hottest fishing grounds! You'll enjoy some stunning scenery while you cruise towards productive honey holes. Depending on the season and what is biting, your targeted species will include Red Snapper, Triggerfish, wahoo, Amberjack, and many more. You'll troll and bottom fish to catch the bite. Standard tip for the first mate is about 20% of the total trip price and is not included in your trip price.

Enjoy a nice afternoon fishing trip and a good late sunset ride in after a good afternoon of fishing.

On this trip you can head 20 miles out to fish for some pelagic such as Wahoo, Sailfish, and King Mackerel. Bottom fishing for Snappers and Groupers can also be productive on these trips.

Spending 5 hours on the water will give you enough time to explore a range of fishing grounds. Famed for its fishing, you'll get to see why Destin is known all over the world for inshore fishing, along with the reefs and wrecks nearshore. Troll the shallow waters and bottom fish further out as you aim to fill the boat with plenty of delicious fish. It won't be easy, though. Get ready for an intense battle to land anything from Snapper, Grouper to Mackerel, Sheepshead to Sharks, and many more.

You'll begin the trip by trolling for live bait. After, you'll cruise to the beaches, trolling the live bait looking for King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Bonito, Tuna, and Spanish Mackerel. This is a great relaxing form of fishing that families will really enjoy. All the fishing equipment is included, along with the license for the whole group. You only need to bring your own food and drink, which can go into the captain's cooler. Don't forget your sunscreen, shades, and a hat.

7 AM or 8 AM departure time

We will depart the dock at 6am and bottom fish. This is deep sea fishing. We will travel about an hour and a half to two hours to our bottom fishing locations. We typically fish 6-8 people at a time depending on the seas, the current, and the fish we are targeting We typically catch Spanish Mackerel, Vermillion Snapper, Triggerfish, Black Snapper, White Snapper, Bonita, Red Grouper, Scamp Grouper and sometimes Wahoo. We will target what is in season.

This trip is designed to get you out in Blue Water. With more time to explore and get the big fish.

Our 6 hour trip will allow us to travel to further spots that typically deliver better results and allow more time with lines spent in the water. We will deploy a variety of fishing techniques to include trolling for mackerals and bonita and bottom fishing for various reef species. You will be able to take home what you catch as long as it is within FWC guidelines.
