Winthrop Haddock Fishing Charters

Deep sea fishing at its best. Fishing the wrecks and humps of Stellwagon Bank or Jefferies Ledge. Our target is Haddock and cod (cod when in season) . Bring home a nice bunch of fillets, delicious. We also catch good numbers of whiting(wonderful table ). Redfish reeling up a trophy! . Departure times can be flexible. All the equipment is supplied for this trip. . This is an OFFSHORE 12-hour trip for 4 passengers max. We will head 20-50 miles OFFSHORE, in search LARGE pelagic sharks & LARGE tuna. We also bottom fish for tasty fish like haddock, pollack & cod while waiting for the big ones to bite. This is a chance to battle some of the largest fish in the Atlantic Fish can be processed & shipped home for a fee. No Whimps, Weenies or land lubbers!

The all-day trip allows you to travel to the fishing grounds further offshore without sacrificing any fishing time. This will get you to some deeper waters where you can get a chance to hook some seriously big fish!

On this 3 hour trip, you can choose to fish for a variety of species depending on what is biting. Striped Bass, Mackerel, Flounder, and many other species are all accessible just minutes from the dock. This trip is for anglers of all experience levels looking to fit a fishing trip into their busy schedule. This is also a great trip for families with children to enjoy a few hours together out on the water. As the departure times are flexible, you can also start the trip at 11:00 a.m.

This 5-hour inshore trip is great for Bass and early season Haddock! Come aboard and also enjoy a beautiful river cruise and sightseeing. You can also have a great time in the summer watching whales! This trip runs from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Offshore fishing for giant tuna and sharks. With a variety of fish to catch for the table as well. It's a long ride but battling a 90-inch tuna or a 300-pound porbeagle shark is a fish of a lifetime. Whales are usually around. This trip always comes with a deckhand. Weather must be perfect as fishing offshore 30 miles is not something 'I' the captain take lightly. Bass Fishing can always be substituted as inshore fishing we can fish in choppy weather. Trip Price would be reduced to a bass trip.

Fishing in the Stellwagen Bank National Sanctuary. This trip is seasonal. 6:30 am - 12:30 pm. Read the trip details to see that this is for ground fishing for haddock, red fish, pollock, cod, cusk, etc. Limited to 4 person maximum.

Join us for the experience of a lifetime! Chasing Giant Tuna & Sharks on the world renowned offshore Grounds of Jeffery's Ledge, Stellwagen Bank, Cape Cod Bay, or Race Point. We will 'Chase the Bite'. Trips vary from 12 to 16 Hours. Departures from Midnight to 5AM & are pre-arranged. Bluefin Tuna over 73 Inches remain the property of the Captain & Crew per Federal regs. legal size Tunas less than 73 Inches & legal sharks may be harvested and processed for the charterer. 4 People MAX- Advance Notice Req.

Inshore trips typically target Striped Bass using light spinning and fly tackle. Other species available on inshore trips include bluefish, cod, flounder, mackerel, and pollock. Since we are rarely more than 10 minutes from fishing, many of the trips we run May - October are 8-hour inshore trips. The 8-hour trips typically run from 7:00 to 3:30ish. These are perfect for family trips, as well as for folks who want to experience the wonderful fishery we have.

This 8 hour trip gives you more time on the water therefore able to target multiple species. We will start fishing nearby for Bass, Blues and flounder while also having time to head out to deeper water for Haddock if you'd like. This trip start/end time can be pushed back up to one hour if needed (6am-2pm). Be sure to mention it during booking.
