Comox Halibut Fishing Charters

Spend a whole day on these prolific waters trolling and jigging for bottom fish! Full day charters may last 8-10 hours depending on fishing and sea conditions. All charters include bait, fishing gear, safety equipment, fish bags, and expert fish care, cleaned and filleted as you like. All you need to do is get excited about your newest fishing expedition!

Flat Rate fishing is based on 6hrs but could range from 5-7hrs.

If you want to spend a whole day enjoying spectacular views and catching fish, this full day trip is just what the doctor ordered. The usual suspects are Chinook and Coho Salmon, as well as a variety of bottom fish.

You'll spend 5 productive hours on this fishing adventure, launching out of Comox. Experience the thrill of landing a variety of Salmon, Halibut, and Rockfish. Don't forget to take in the beautiful BC surroundings while you're at it! Gear and bottled water are provided but be sure to pack additional drinks and snacks and don't forget to pick up a fishing license!

We will be leaving Port Alberni and heading down the Alberni Canal to Barkley Sound. It is about a two-hour scenic boat ride to the Salmon and Halibut fishing grounds. Upon discussion with the captain, we can drop some Crab traps in the morning as well. On the way back if time allows, we can also target some Lingcod and Rock Cod.

Saltwater Salmon fishing grounds within 30 minutes from Campbell River. Guest will fish two tide changes for the best opportunities for tight lines. Fly fishing for surface feeding coho is very popular in June and July. Note: Beginning April 1 - July 14 non-retention of Chinook salmon is in effect.

We will leave the dock at 6 AM and cruise past the Campbell River Township heading into our fishing grounds. There will be lots of Marine life to see on our travels and once we get there, we will set the lines in on of the BC coasts most productive salmon fishing areas. If you are a novice, no problem as Brants patience and training will have you reeling in a big one.
