Jacksonville King Mackerel (Kingfish) Fishing Charters

Depending on your personal preferences and the weather, you can choose between fishing nearshore or heading offshore. Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel, Cobia, Vermilion Snapper, Triggerfish, Seabass, Mutton snapper and now (American Red Snapper from May 22 to June 20 and again for 6 days in October to be determined) will all be among your targeted species. Kids are welcome!

Can head up to 50 miles out, bottom fishing the ledges and wrecks or slow trolling live bait for Kingfish, Cobia, Amberjack and Sailfish. Times will vary depending on your availability, wants and needs. Great trip to try out some new techniques.

The morning trip to beat the heat and be home by lunch. This still includes all the required bait, tackle, and fishing licenses that Rocketman provides.

Get on the water early and see what Northeast Florida has to offer. We'll be targeting inshore species such as trout, flounder, redfish and many more. Or we can troll the Nearshore wrecks for palegics.

This trip will take you to the nearshore wrecks and reefs close by Jacksonville. You'll be using techniques such as trolling and bottom fishing to try to lure in the species that roam in these waters.

These 4-hour trips offer a great taste of what Jacksonville has to offer. Stay inshore for rod bending action or venture offshore to battle hard fighting fish if the weather is good! Suitable for up to 4 guests. If a more serious fishing trip is expected 2-3 anglers is best. Keep in mind, start time likely will be 30 minutes earlier or later depending on time of year and tide in order to achieve best results. Keep In mind Summer offshore trips require live bait to be caught during the trip.

This 6-hour trip gives us enough time to fish for many different species and is great for loading up the cooler for dinner. This trip can also be done in the morning or afternoon. Lunch on the sandbar can be arranged as well. If you’d like to take a break from fishing, I know some great spots to beach the boat and enjoy lunch on a private beach!
