Calabash King Mackerel (Kingfish) Fishing Charters

This 4-hour trip is all about catching a variety of species: Shark, Seabass, King and Spanish Mackerel, and Barracuda are all on the menu. All required equipment is provided by the charter. This 4-hour trip will be You'll be targeting fun catches such as Kingfish, Shark, Sea Bass, Spanish Mackerel, and even some Barracuda!

We are only 4.5 miles to the inlet which means less travel time and more fishing time! Avg 20-30 miles offshore targeting species like King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Amberjack, Barracuda, Mahi and depending on the Season Seabass, Trigger, Snapper and Grunts. The distance traveled offshore and type of fishing depend on what is in season at the time. Note: we can legally take 6 people, but we highly recommend you limit it to 5 adults as it can get very tight on a 8 hour trip with 6 adults.

Our 8-hour trip is great for beginners and avid fishermen alike. We have many options to choose from. We can begin the trip live baiting for Amberjack on the wrecks, or we can troll for Bonito, Amberjack, Barracuda, and King Mackerel, and we can Shark fish. We also have the option of bottom fishing for other species like Black Seabass, Grouper, Snapper, and other bottom dwellers. We can do a mixture of all so you can get the full experience on this 8-hour trip. Seasonal.

This trip starts by dragging a shrimp net to catch the best available live bait. Along with bait, you will see many different species of sea life including Shrimp, sand dollars, starfish, conch shells, and many different fish. Dolphins tend to follow the net as you are dragging and many times come right up to the boat. After the net, you get to where the sharks are biting and set out several rods to catch sharks ranging 30-300 lbs. Be prepared for a fight and a show as some of the sharks will jump.

You'll have a great time fishing for Spanish/King Mackerel, sharks. You and Captain Orlando will leave the dock at 7:00 a.m. You should bring snacks and drinks, the rest will be taken care of by the captain.

With a variety of different fishing styles come troll for Spanish Mackerel, Barracuda and King Mackerel. Bottom fish for Seabass, American Red Snapper, Porgis, Gag Grouper, Shark, and occasional Flounder. Or Fish for a variety of different sharks ranging from 3 to 10 foot!
