The inner reef/bay trip was the perfect choice for my children whom suffer motion sickness. The action was great and kept us busy the entire trip. Catching a variety of local species kept our interest and allowed us to understand some of the fish behavior of the area.

From what we understood, this was the off season. Of course we wanted to find something like a wahoo, marlin, or mahi but that wasn't in the cards. We did, however, get a good number of smallish black fin tuna which were delicious.

I liked reef fishing get to run line out and feel the action on the pole, never know what will come up, triggers give a lot of fight for their size!

We caught a skip jack (small tuna species) and a local restaurant made it into ceviche for us. I recommend listening to captain Bobby. If there is a fish to be caught out there, he will find it!

Capt took us to the east end of the island where the fish were. Bite was a little slow at first, but crew kept working and we landed a monster tuna. Kids loved every minute.

Kind of a slow fishing time of the year, so have fun in the reef or in the harbor, but donโt expect the big fish this time of year. Still a blast with a Captain like C!!

Be prepared to have to go through some choppy water to get to the leeward side of the island. Charters wonโt go out if it is too rough but it can get bouncy on the windward side!
