Full Day reef fishing on the Great Barrier Reef. Be at the Pier Cafe for check-in at 6:00 am. The vessel returns between 3:30pm and 4:00 pm. We provide quality, well-maintained fishing equipment, bottled drinking water and a delicious buffet-style lunch of selected meats, salads, bread rolls. Afternoon tea of a fruit and prawn platter is also served. We clean, ice and bag your catch for you to take home. Just bring a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses and cash for onboard purchases.

We had bad weather but Captain Shawry was able to change locations and provide an amazing experience. He is knowledgeable and personable and his boat was great. Caught a bunch of different species. Amazing time and can’t say enough positive things about Hook Up Charters.

I took my two sons for a half day trip with Chris and it was great. We hit the estuaries and hooked six fish. The boys had a great time. Chris caught live bait and we fished with soft plastics as well. Boat was great and Chris knew his stuff. Would recommend!

Fun on the Estuary

We had lots of fun catching a range of fish on the estuary. Shawry was very friendly and helpful. He made sure we were comfortable and well looked after. We all really enjoyed the trip. We'll definitely book again when we're in Port Douglas next time.
