Australia Queenfish Fishing Charters

This is a private trip just for up to 6 people. From 6.30 am until 11 am. We supply all rods & reels, all bait & tackle as well as bottles of water and you will be guided by our experienced fishing guide. Common estuary fish species include, but are not limited to, Javelinfish, Fingermark, Blue and king Threadfin, Queenfish, Trevally species, Mangrove jack, Estuary cod species, Bream species, Hairtails, and the prize catch Barramundi.

Explore a whole host of fishing grounds on this full day adventure, departing out of Lucinda. You'll have access to the plentiful waters around Hinchinbrook Island, as well as a collection of productive reefs. Your captain will have you targeting prized species such as that Aussie favourite, Barramundi, as well as Trevally, Threadfin Salmon, and Queenfish. You'll get to test out a mix of techniques, too. You'll catch live bait during your trip, and your fishing gear is included as well.

Come fish the plentiful, tropical waters of Northern Queensland! This trip is suitable for anglers of all skill levels and can be tailored to suit your preferences. You'll be exploring a variety of fishing grounds for the chance to hook incredible species, including Barramundi, Trevally, Threadfin Salmon, Mackerel, Queenfish, and Trevallies. Your captain will provide top-quality rods and reels, lures, tackle, bottled water, for all guests. You'll also get to fish for your own live bait.

Come explore the diverse waters around Ayr on this 10-hour adventure. Depending on your skill levels and personal preferences, your captain will take you to various hotspots to target some incredible fish. Species include the mighty Barramundi, a variety of Snapper, Nannygai, Threadfin Salmon, and whatever else is biting. You'll be provided with top-quality rods and reels, tackle, lures, bottles water, and a valid fishing license for all guests. You can also catch your own live bait on the journey out.

You and Skipper Robert will be fly fishing in Darwin Harbour. You'll have a great time fly fishing in the flats and estuary systems for Barramundi and tropical sports fish. The trip departure time is 8:00 a.m. The trip covers all the equipment and drinks.

A maximum of 8 guests. Minimum age 10yo. All equipment, tackle, and bait are supplied. Experienced skipper/owner with 30 years local experience. Departing Port Douglas at 12.00pm and returning at 4.00pm. Catch is bled and bagged. CONDITIONS # Private charters are to be paid in full by 7 days before departure date. # The operator reserves the right to transfer the trip to calm water options, including estuary, in the event weather conditions prevent accessing the coastal reefs.

This length of trip allows us to travel that bit further to those less fished areas, as we start early, you're back in port to relax and enjoy the pleasures of Airlie in the afternoon.

Private charter for the boat, up to 4 people. You will find yourself fishing estuary waters for Barramundi, Golden Snapper, Mangrove Jack, and many more, depending on the season. Please note we do charge a 10 percent surcharge on public holidays .(As of the 27th of march 2026 we will be adding a temporary 10 percent fuel levy to all tours .This will remain temporary until fuel prices settle back down )

A full day estuary fishing for the elusive barrmundi ,fingermark ,mangrove jacks ,salmon ,brims and grunter all while taking in the tranquil surroundings of our far north queensland estuary eco system .we cater for all levels of fishing experience ,our day begins with catching our live bait then setting out to our numerous fishing haunts .we also can throw lures as well, however do restrict our guest numbers to 2pax for luring .we do charge a 10 percent surcharge for public holidays and 10% temp fuel levy
