Australia Queenfish Fishing Charters

This full-day shared charter will have you targeting Barramundi in Cairns Inlet, as well as Queenfish, Mangrove Jack, Fingermark, Giant Trevelly, Threadfin Salmon, Grunter and many more. Trips include fishing equipment and bait. BYO food and drinks. Trips have a maximum of 8 people.

This is a full day of estuary fishing in Trinity inlet, Cairns, for up to 6 people; private charter only. From 6.30am to 3.30pm. We supply rods & reels, all bait & tackle, bottles of water with a lunch! We ask you to wear a wide brim hat with a long sleeve cotton shirt & bring along sunnies, sunscreen, & a few cans are okay. This is live bait fishing for Trevally species, Queenfish, Fingermark, Mangrove jack, Cod species, Bream, Flathead and the prize catch...Barramundi (fish are seasonal) to name a few!

The Inlet is home to a great diversity of species including the famous Barramundi, Mangrove Jack, Fingermark, Salmon, and Jewfish to name just a few. All rods and reels are included in the price, as well as the live bait. We supply cold drinking water and sunscreen but feel free to bring along your own snacks and drinks.

In his 7m custom built centre console, with a cruising speed of 30 knots, he can get you to the reef in 30 minutes and share some of the tips and tricks he has learned from over 20 years in the local commercial and charter fishing industry. With access to some of the most pristine fishing locations Far North Queensland has to offer, and using a range of techniques, we will be fishing for GT's, Nannygai, Coral Trout, Red Emperor and more.. You will travel up to 80km each way to get to the best fishing grounds. The local fishing guide on board will choose the best location to go to depending on the time of year and your preferences. You'll use a variety of techniques, such as jigging, popping, dropping baits and stickbaits. You'll hook Barramundi, Black Jewfish, Red Snapper, and many more. All fishing equipment you'll need for the day is included. Even your fishing license for the day is included in the price, as well as snacks and drinks.

Just out of Townsville, you'll have the chance to fish the rich waters along the coast. Explore inshore saltwater and brackish rivers for the bite of some exciting and delicious fish. You'll reach the sweet spots in no time, so prepare to get the most out of your fishing trip as you spend all your time battling it out with prized Barramundi, Snappers, Groupers, Mackerel, Queenfish, Trevallies, and many more.

Explore some of the areas many mangrove-lined river and estuary systems. Have your expert guide will decide on the best target for the day, taking into account the weather and tides and get after your next prize catch. The guides specialize in targeting Barramundi but this is far from your only option in this rich fishery. In order to ensure a personalized experience, this trip is for a maximum of 2 guests.

You and Skipper Robert will be fly fishing in Darwin Harbour. You'll have a great time fly fishing in the flats and estuary systems for Barramundi and tropical sports fish. The trip departure time is 8:00 a.m. The trip covers all the equipment and drinks.

This is a full-day outer reef and wonky hole adventure you can catch big Largemouth Nannygai, Coral Trout, Cobia, Red Emperor, Mackerel, Giant Trevally, and much much more.
