New York Rainbow Trout (Steelhead) Fishing Charters

On this morning trip, you will be fishing for Trout and Salmon on Lake Ontario.

Join Capt. Mike on an adventure of a lifetime. You'll chase some of the biggest Salmon and Trout species you've ever seen. If you wish to take your catch home, don't forget to bring a cooler. Prepare your food and drinks for the day and get ready to catch some fish. You'll target various kinds of Trout and Salmon by trolling. Don't forget to purchase your fishing license.

We will be targeting trophy-sized Salmon and Trout on the famous Salmon River! We also use other nearby locations for these trips, depending on how the conditions have been. A 6-hour guided fishing trip via drift boat or shore fishing on the Salmon River and/or Oswego River. The captain provides all fishing gear except waders & a NYS fishing license. Come fish with him and he’ll teach you the technique to catch trophy fish. Be prepared for slimy hands!

Fishing for lake trout, brown trout, rainbow trout, and Atlantic salmon, Cayuga lake is one of the most phenomenal fishing lakes in CNY. The number of fish is staggering and large catches are common. These fish are excellent eating as well.

This trip is designed to accommodatearge groups of 4 or more from the banks of the Salmon River targeting Chinook, Coho, Steelhead, Atlantic Salmon, Brown Trout, and Rainbow Trout. All tackle, flies, and rods are included, please provide your own waders, studded boots preferred.

This trip includes a 7-8 hour trip for 450. We will target Salmon and Steelhead in my 17' Hyde fiberglass. Come catch a drag-screaming King in the fall or come catch an acrobatic Steelhead in the winter!

On these trips, we mainly fish Cayuga Lake jigging Lake Trout from the depths on very light tackle which makes it a ton of fun. These trips can be very action-packed and no experience is required to be successful. There are also Rainbows, Browns, and Atlantic Salmon to target as well. A 5-hour trip that starts at 6:30 AM or later on request at Long Point State Park. A small variety of fishing tactics will be used for Jigging Lake Trout. A chance of catching Rainbow, Atlantic Salmon, Pickerel, and Brown Trout is possible. Will go for Perch on request.
