Newport Rainbow Trout (Steelhead) Fishing Charters

On this private trip, you will be chasing Chinook Salmon, from a Willie's 18x60 drift boat. Captain Greg will teach you anything you need to know about the special techniques needed to catch these hard fighting fish.This is a full day action-packed trip, so make sure you bring protective clothing, food, drinks & fishing licenses for the day. This trip is fit for up to 3 anglers MAX and is done from a top of the line Willies 18×60 Drift Boat with level floors.

This is a full day of fishing for Steelhead, Trout, and/or Salmon. You will have all the fishing gear available, as well as a cleaning and filleting service.

Go out and fish around productive reefs and rockpiles for many different types of bottom fish. In the nearshore waters, you'll target Halibut, Black Seabass, Rockfish and many others. To mix things up, the captain will show you how to drop crab pots and have a blast going after Crabs. Grab your fishing license, snacks, and drinks, and head out!

We fish for Coho and Chinook Salmon at different times and locations throughout the year. The average size of a Coho Salmon is 6 to 8 pounds, and they can reach 20+ pounds. The common Chinook Salmon size is 10 to 25 pounds. Sometimes, they weigh over 50 pounds.

Steelheading is hands-on fishing for excellent, fresh fish on one of several beautiful rivers on the Oregon coast. You will be casting and tending to your rod all day while drifting through some of the world's most remarkable outdoor settings. This trip is seasonal.
