The waters also host the mighty blue marlin, recognized as one of the ocean's largest and strongest fish, measuring over 4 meters and weighing more than 600 kilos.

Anglers visiting Golfito can choose between deep-sea expeditions or fishing within the protected Golfo Dulce. Offshore adventures, typically 10-20 kilometers from the coast, target migratory giants like sailfish and marlin.
