On a Gulfstream full day trip, you venture out 40 miles to the waters of the Gulfstream. There you seek to find Yellowfin Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Mahi, Sailfish, White Marlin, Blue Marlin, and anything else that may bite the hook. Typical departure times are discussed with the client but will usually be around 5:00 a.m. You typically return in the late afternoon or whenever the boat is full!

The $2550 price includes the current fuel surcharge due to the extremely high cost of diesel fuel. It also includes the price of filleting the fish, something that likely saves you a few hundred dollars on a good day. Keep in mind the mate works for tips: 15-20% of trip cost.

On our 10hr trip, you'll make your way through Oregon Inlet around 40 miles to get to the Gulfstream. From May to late August, you can target a wide variety of fish, including Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Black/Yellowfin/Big Eye Tuna, Marlin and Sailfish. My husband and father-in-law went on a full-day deep sea fishing trip during our trip to the Outer Banks and had an unforgettable time! My kids and I have fished all over the world and this was by far the best trip we have been on. We caught 3 yellowfin and 5 sailfish. It was amazing. The boat and equipment were top notch and the captain and his mate were great to us. We will definitely be back.

Rough seas to begin with, but Captain Ron & Trent are a great crew, got us into tuna and mahi and my son was able to land a sailfish. Great time, no complaints, they didn't waste our time at all, very patient and informative. Would use again.

It was a slow day unfortunately. It wasn’t due to lack of effort by Capt Jamie or first mate. Very professional. We got into the dolphin fish but trolling for the tuna, wahoo, sailfish, swordfish, etc wasn’t working for us or anyone else. Clean, comfortable boat made the quiet time pleasant and it was still a good time.
