Going for salmon on either the kasilof or kenai river whichever river is producing more fish, trip duration is up to 6 hours or until we get a limit whatever comes first. Locals know that the Kasilof River is the best spot to go after King, Red, and Silver Salmon. You'll head out with other likeminded anglers on this 5-hour shared trip! Drift in the pristine waters as you attempt to hook your targets with gear provided by Capt. Dean. Just remember to buy a fishing license beforehand and bring any drinks and snacks you'd like to enjoy. Departure time varies between 4 AM and 3 PM and is dependent on the incoming tide.

Join the crew on an incredible drift fishing trip on the glacial waters of Alaska's Kasilof River. You'll be escorted down the river in one of the captain's beautiful Willie drift boats and you'll target Salmon.

Ealy king season starts May 16 and will run through June 30th.

Half-Day Salmon Fishing Trip – Kenai or Kasilof River. Enjoy a 5-hour guided salmon fishing adventure on Alaska’s iconic Kenai or Kasilof River. This half-day trip is ideal for all experience levels—from first-timers to seasoned anglers—looking to hook into wild, hard-fighting Alaskan salmon. Just bring your fishing license, rain gear, warm socks, snacks, and a camera—everything else is taken care of. At the end of the trip, we’ll clean your catch so it’s ready for transport or cooking.

6 hour trip targeting salmon on the Kasilof River. We will target the species of salmon that is running at the time of your trip.

King Salmon fishing with plugs and bait out of a drift boat on the lower Kasilof River. Hatchery fish may be retained but native fish must be released. Sockeys may be kept as well. Up to 3 people. We will launch from the Bridge on Sterling highway and float to the mouth of the Kasilof River. We will take out at the Cabins and then ride back to the bridge in a comfortable Ford Expedition. Can be cold, wet and slow, but also well worth it to catch a King salmon.
