Oregon Chinook Salmon Fishing Charters

This half day fishing trip will start out on the Willamette or Columbia River, near Portland, Oregon. Depending on the season, you will target Chinook salmon or Sturgeon. Captain Dave will provide all the gear and all you will need is a fishing license and a lunch! **Half day fishing trips minimum 4 anglers**

You will start out your 8 hour fishing trip on the Columbia River, near Astoria Oregon, targeting Chinook Salmon, Coho or catch and release Sturgeon. Capt. Dave will provide all the gear, you just need a fishing license and a lunch.

Have the boat and captain all to yourselves. Up to 6 passengers. With an abundance of big Chinook King Salmon as well as the best run of Coho Salmon anywhere, this is one of the captain's favorite places to fish. Just inside the mouth of the Columbia River around Buoy 10 is where you can catch a limit of hard-fighting Salmon fresh from the ocean. The season runs from August 1 through September and holds fantastic opportunities for catching. Come out and play with Rivertrek at Buoy 10 in Astoria!

This is a private salmon fishing trip for up to two people. The ocean salmon fishery is one of our favorites – the salmon are usually close to the surface and the action can be really fast-paced once we get into them. We will fish for coho and chinook until the coho quota is reached.

You get to experience the mighty Rogue River bay in all its glory with a possible whale sighting to plenty of seals. If the weather and ocean conditions permit, we may be able to go and catch some rockfish too. This is a shared trip, but if you would like to make it a private one, contact the captain.
