Alaska Sockeye Salmon Fishing Charters

Join Jason or Caleb on a full day fishing trip for rainbow trout and Dolly Varden Char. We fish both the Upper and Middle Kenai River June 11 - October 26. Our prime time for the trophy hunters is August 20 - October 26, we have good fishing all season long. Our average Upper River Trout is 16"-20" and the average Middle River fish is 18"-22". We fish both fly and spin gear using hand-tied flies, hand-painted beads, and conventional gear. We fish out of custom-built drift boats.

Give yourself a full 8 hours on the water and take in everything the Kenai River has to offer! You'll explore the Middle River, the Upper River, or the Kenai River Canyons in search of delicious Salmon and Trout. Your targets will vary depending on the time of year you visit. Make sure to pick up a fishing license beforehand and feel free to bring along any drinks and snacks you'd like to enjoy!

On this trip, you will spend the day drift fishing 8 miles of the Upper Kenai River. This wild area is closed to motors and features incredible fishing opportunities for Salmon, Rainbow Trout, and Dolly Varden. Start times are flexible depending on the season, species, and your needs.

It will take 2 hours to get to the fishing grounds to target Halibut. You can keep 2 Halibut that you catch – have a cooler in the car ready, and the captain can recommend where you can get them vacuum packed. Once you limit out, you can also target Black Bass, Lingcod, and Rockfish. Bring layers of clothing, the weather changes fast! You'll need to bring food and drinks, and wear layers of clothing and rain gear fishing license,camera and a smile. Halibut Stamp Tax Not Included In The Trip Price

If you want to spend a whole day exploring the prolific waters of the Kenai River, this is the trip for you. Spend 8 hours enjoying the natural beauty of the river, and reeling in a variety of fish species. Your guide will provide you with the fishing equipment, just bring a license, some food and drinks, and you're all set!

Explore the Kenai River with other like-minded anglers on this 5-hour afternoon trip! You'll go after all the Salmon you can imagine, including King, Silver, Pink, and Red. Capt. Dean provides you with all the necessary gear and has a deckhand on board on all trips. Bring along any drinks and snacks you'd like to enjoy and don't forget to pick up a fishing license beforehand! Fish the Upper Kenai river for 4 hours, floating the pristine turquoise blue Kenai River waters. We will target Rainbow Trout, Dolly Varden, and multiple Salmon species depending on the season. Bring your camera for photos of eagles, moose, and black and brown bears that inhabit this scenic float through the small town of Cooper Landing. Light lunch and snacks, as well as drinks, will be provided. Seasonal trip.

Catch and KEEP Your Salmon, Just 30 minutes north of Anchorage, Alaska and 15 minutes south of Wasilla, Alaska. When fishing the Knik River, keep in mind that these Alaska Salmon are chrome bright, fresh from the Upper Cook Inlet salt water since the area we are fishing is just a few miles from the Upper Cook Inlet/Knik Arm Drainage. We also fish the Little Susitna and up in Talkeetna later in the season.
