Hitchcock Blacktip Shark Fishing Charters

Being a full day adventure, we will fish in the morning and grab lunch between noon and one o'clock, depending on our clients' needs as well as the fish feeding. The no-catch no-pay clause is also an effect for the full-day charter. The price includes rods, reels, and terminal tackle, but you will need to bring a valid fishing license. Please check with the captain if there is an extra fuel surcharge for offshore trips.

This specific trip is for shark fishing. We do a series of techniques varying from drifting the beachfront and close offshore. Sometimes these trips are also fish around the breakwater jetties. Will be targeting big sharks. Some species to expect to see are blacktip sharks, spinner sharks bull sharks bonnethead and more! This will be a heavy tackle trip. We will be using big baits targeting big fish that way anywhere from 20 pounds to 300lbs . All sharks are released. Will picture and release.

Embark on a fantastic near shore fishing adventure departing from Galveston! This trip, bait included, takes about 60 min to reach our first site. We may troll a few lines on the way to some of the artificial reefs and rigs in the area, as well as some other, sunk wrecks, and oil rigs along the way. This is excellent trip to get feet wet for offshore trips. Spend at least 4-6 hours fishing on-sites, then enjoy a swift return back to Galveston Yacht Marina.

This trip is for those who want to specifically target sharks. We will be fishing outside of the Galveston jetties drifting wrecks or following shrimp boats offshore (when they are present). Drip duration is 6hrs.
