If you want to catch that morning bite, and spend a few more hours on the nearshore waters out of Mississippi, this is the trip for you! This trip gives you a few more hours on the water to fish for Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder and more or (weather permitting) run out near the barrier islands up to 10 miles trolling and bottom fishing for Sharks, Bullreds, Jack Crevalle and a possibility of a Cobia depending on the time of the year.

Fishing at the barrier islands is usually a shallow-water affair targeting speckled trout, redfish, white trout, flounder, and sometimes sharks on the sea grass flats and in the saltwater marshes. In the cooler months, we will often remain inshore in our bays and bayous as many fish migrate inshore seasonally.
