Port Aransas Sheepshead Fishing Charters

This trip will get you and your crew out on the water bending rods and chasing some of the finest redfish and trout in all of Texas. Bait taçkle and fish filleting services are included. We will spend around 6 hours out on the water. For this trip we will meet up at Cove Park in Ingleside Texas.

This five hour trip is a great option for families with kids and less experienced anglers. You can target a variety of inshore species, including Redfish, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Sheepshead, and some Snapper. The captain likes taking kids on and will teach them how to fish. Please purchase a valid Texas saltwater fishing license, bring food and drinks, as well as sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and a camera. The captain will supply all the fishing gear. You can get fish cleaned at the dock.

Spend 5 hours on a relaxing inshore fishing trip and target Redfish, Flounder, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, and other species.

Spend 6 hours on the water and have a great time fishing in the bay. You and the crew will leave the dock at 8:00 a.m. and return at 2:00 p.m. Your trip includes all the gear, bait, catch cleaning, and drinks, so you should only bring some snacks and your licenses.

If you prefer afternoon fishing, leave the Fisherman's Wharf marina in Port Aransas at 12:00 p.m. for a half-day bay fishing trip, and return to the marina around 4:30 p.m. You'll get to target Black Drum, Speckled Trout, Redfish, and Sheepshead. You can expect lots of action with rod and reel in hand. At times we do use dead bait but, normally when using bait it's live perch, mullet, croaker, and shrimp. If you are wanting an artificial-only trip, that can be provided. Capt. Kevin is proficient with all soft plastics and hard baits targeting Reds, Trout, and Flounder. You name the game, and we will provide it. But we don’t soak dead bait in rod holders. We fish with rod and reel in hand and it's up to you to set the hook.

A full-day fishing trip for 1-5 guests. We will be targeting redfish, black drum, trout, and mangrove snapper mainly with the potential to catch a few different species as well.
