Gulf of Mexico Sheepshead Fishing Charters

Explore the winding waterways of the Mississippi as it flows into the Gulf. The productive shallow waters are home to a range of exciting and delicious fish, and you'll get to go after 'em all. Test your angling skills against Red Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Flounder, Tripletail, Sheepshead and many more, and head home with enough fish to fill the freezer for weeks to come. Live bait can be provided at an extra cost – usually ranging from $80 to $130.

We would depart the marina at 6am and head to our speckled trout and redfish hot spots for some of the best Louisiana has to offer. After a couple of hours of trout & redfish fishing, we will head to the offshore oilfield rigs for snapper, cobia, shark and anything else that want to bite our baits! Afterwards, we will return to the marina where we can take pictures of your catch, then I will clean and bag your fillets for the ride home.

Fish the Gulf of Mexico for red snapper for half the price of normal offshore fishing trips

This is a 6 to 7-hour long trip that will see you fishing the inshore waters of Grand Isle, Elmer's Island, or the reefs just west of Venice for a variety of species. You can target Spotted Seatrout, Redfish, Black Drum, and Sheepshead. We are a full-time charter service whose only job is taking you fishing. We try to always have live bait available. Trips booked through this service do not include live bait, it is available at a cost of .30 apiece. We suggest 40 pieces of bait per person.

On this 6-hour trip, you'll head to the most secluded spots that only this captain knows of. You'll head into water with depths of only inches, in the mud flats just to get close to the fish. Quite literally, you'll do whatever's needed to catch the fish. Target delicious Flounder and Sheepshead, and exciting Redfish, Trout, and huge Black Drum, to make all your fishing dreams come true.

Depending on the tide, you'll spend at least 6 hours on the water. If there's a lot of action, you can stay out longer, but there's usually no need for you to do so. You'll stay inshore along the productive shallow waters of the bays and bayous of southern Louisiana. Try your hand at casting, bottom fishing, popping, among others, as you seek to test your skills against a range of exciting and delicious fish. From Flounder to Redfish, Sheepshead to Speckled Trout, there's no end to what you can catch.

The full day trip is an optional 8 hours on the water full of fun and fishing either in the marsh of South Louisiana or on Louisiana’s coast, targeting Speckled Trout and Redfish. The captain will provide all the poles, reels, and terminal tackle. He also covers you for live bait (live shrimp) water, and chips on the boat. All other drinks, food, and snacks are up to your choice.

Head out offshore to catch a limit of Red snapper and work back inshore catching mangroves, tripletail, redfish and any other species encountered. Live bait is available at $25.00 per person and all trips are plus fuel.
