St. James City Mangrove Snapper Fishing Charters

This is an extended version of our 8 hr trip! We focus on targeting the coveted Red Grouper. These bottom dwellers, nicknamed the "firetruck", live up to their name! They hit hard and pack a punch! You go toe to toe with them as they do everything they can to get back to their hole. We like to call it the 10 ft tug of war.. With a couple more hours on the water, you can hit a greater range of habitats to target an even more diverse range of species. Alternatively, you can head straight to the most productive areas around and fill the boat with enough fish to feed an army.

This trip gives you more time to fish, cover more ground, and catch more fish. You will meet the captain at the dock at 8:00 a.m. and return to the dock at 4:00 p.m. Depending on the bite, you could be reeling in Tarpon, Spotted Seatrout, Shark, Snook, Redfish, Mangrove Snapper, Flounder, and more.

A full day trip offers the most flexibility meaning you'll be able to fish multiple tides and move between spots as necessary. This adventure will give you the best chance to catch a monster fish.

Spending more time on the water means you'll be there during the tides and ready for the fish rush hour. Use this to catch different species or test out which technique works best. Target Redfish, Trout, Snook, Tarpon, Permit, and more. A $50 pick-up fee is required for trips leaving out of Captiva or North Captiva Islands.

A customized fishing trip includes bait, gear and tackle, licenses, water, and ice for up to 4 passengers, targeting local and seasonal fish including Redfish, Snapper, Cobia, Seatrout, Sharks, King/Spanish Mackerel, and nearshore bottom species. This trip is weather dependent and will be tailored to the needs and desires of the customer, including optional float plans. Suitable for children over 12 years old, all fishing is in State Waters (inside of 9 miles).

Spend a few extra hours on the water and boost your chances of filling the cooler. You and Captain Kyle will target a variety of species during this 6-hour trip, departing at 8:00 a.m. Just bring your favorite snacks and enjoy the ride.

Enjoy 6 hours of inshore fishing and go after your favorite species. Check with Capt. Ben about the season's details and what species are currently being targeted. You'll start the trip at 8:00 a.m. It includes everything you need for a great fishing experience, just remember to bring some snacks or a packed lunch.

Enjoy 6 hours of fishing the bountiful waters of Florida and enjoy your adventure even more. You and the captain can target Mangrove Snapper, Sheepshead, Redfish, Tarpon, Snook, and Speckled Trout. The trip starts at 8:00 a.m.

We will be utilizing live bait and/or natural bait. On flats, oyster bars, docks, mangroves, other structures, and passes. A maximum of six people are allowed on this trip.
