This is a fun way to fish into the mangroves of the Nichupte Lagoon, looking for Snook, Barracuda, Jack Crevalle, Tarpon. You'll reach the fishing spots within 5 to 10 minutes, maximizing your fishing time. The captain will provide all the fishing equipment. *There's a $10 dock fee charge, per person.

This is the perfect expedition for all passionate fly rodders who would love nothing more than to spend 8 hours prowling the productive flats of Cozumel in search of their next catch. Tarpon, Snook, Barracuda, Bonefish, Mangrove Snapper, and many more are in the cards. The only thing you'll need for this adventure is sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat.

Fish the brackish waters in Cancun's Nichupte Lagoon for a variety of gamey inshore fish. Go after Tarpon, Snook, Jacks, Snapper, and Barracuda year-round. For Permit and Bonefish, you'll want to head down between May and October. The waters here and calm and there are no motorized boats or wave runners allowed so it's great for kids too! Gear and soft drinks await on board. Pack your sun protection and you're good to go! There's an additional dock fee of US$10 per person.

It won't take more than 15 minutes till you reach your fishing spot and have your lines in the water. You'll stay in calm waters and target Snapper, Grouper, Permit, Snook, Cobia, and other species. All fishing equipment is covered. You can start the trip at 6 or 7 a.m.

Fish along the Cancun Lagoon. Your main target is going to be Barracuda, Snook, Jack Crevalle, Tarpon… but you can always switch to other species and use different fishing techniques. This trip is suitable for anglers of all skill levels.

Boat with guide for two people, Beverages on the boat (water and sodas), snacks, rods, reels and tackles, ice box and ice. You could catch Permit, Tarpon, Bonefish, Snook, among many others. Our guides will take you to a paradisiacal region of the Mexican Caribbean that includes Isla Blanca, Cayo Chacmochuk, Boca Iglesia, Cayo Cahum and Cayo Raton.

Xcalak is located in the region known as Costa Maya. It is a Protected Natural Area on the other side of the Bay of Chetumal, 149mi away and 100mi from Bacalar. It can be reached by ferry or road. Xcalak has a series of lagoons known by some as the flats of Xcalak, which create one of the most favorable places in the world for fly fishing for permit, juvenile tarpon, tarpon, and snook. Conveniently located on the Cancun hotel zone you don't have to travel far to get a world class inshore fishing experience. We fish inside the lagoon called the Nichupte Lagoon. We do not go out to the ocean so you'll be fishing in calm waters mostly close to the mangroves. The boat rides to the fishing grounds are short ~15 minutes so you'll get maximum fishing time. We fish for Baby Tarpon and Snook year round and in the summer months Bonefish and Permit as well. There are also plenty of other species!
