Bolivar Peninsula Speckled Trout Fishing Charters

Fishing east Galveston Bay. You'll go after the main targets - Trout, Flounder, and Redfish. Make sure to purchase your fishing license and bring some snacks and drinks. Anglers of all skill levels are welcome to join.

This 4-hour trip offers an exciting fishing experience at the Galveston Bay jetties. Strong currents around the jetties attract a variety of gamefish, including Red Drum, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Speckled Trout, and Sharks. Anglers will use techniques like live bait on light tackle and bottom fishing with heavy tackle. Capt. Rene provides all fishing gear—just bring your license, snacks, and drinks for an unforgettable adventure!

Full day of inshore fishing for 2. Join Capt. Chris Willy on an 8 hour adventure in East Galveston Bay. Spend the day fishing and exploring the shallow waters around the Bolivar Peninsula. Experience the thrill of sight casting at tailing redfish and black drum back in the marsh, finessing a lure for that doormat of a flounder, or working birds and reefs for schools of speckled trout. If you need a break from the sun, we will head on back to fish camp where a complimentary BBQ lunch will be served.

Embark on a fantastic near shore fishing adventure departing from Galveston! This trip, bait included, takes about 40 min to reach our first site. We may troll a few lines on the way to some of the artificial reefs and rigs in the area, as well as some other, sunk wrecks, and oil rigs along the way. This is excellent trip to get feet wet for offshore trips. Spend at least 4-6 hours fishing on-sites, then enjoy a swift return back to Galveston Yacht Marina.
