Carolina Beach Spotted Seatrout Fishing Charters

Join Captain Harvey for a 4-hour inshore fishing charter in calm, protected waters — fishing the Intracoastal Waterway, tidal creeks, marshes, and backwaters away from the open ocean. We'll target a variety of inshore species including Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Black Drum, and Sheepshead. Lure fishing and/or bait fishing Family-friendly—no experience necessary. All gear, bait, tackle & licenses provided. A private restroom is onboard. This is a private charter for up to 4 anglers.

You and the captain will be fishing shallow water areas. You'll fish on light tackle and use both artificial bait and live bait. Sight fishing is a delicacy as it's exciting to see the fish in the water before it takes a bite!

Go after Trout, Sheepshead, Flounder, and Redfish in the backcountry, or fish the ocean for Spanish Mackerel and Kingfish.

Join on this 6 hour fishing adventure, where you can go after Redfish, Flounder, Sheepshead, Trout, and many more. The captain will prepare everything you need of the equipment, so you only need to pack some snacks and drinks.

We will be fishing for Flounder, Red Drum, Black Drum, and Trout along with other species that may choose to hookup with us as well.

We'll fish inshore and nearshore as well depending on the conditions. We'll hit the creeks, marshes, inlets and rivers for drum, trout, flounder and anything biting. Nearshore we can go after spanish mackeral, bonito, blues, sharks and kings off the beach. We'll bottom fish some reefs and ledges as well if the ocean conditions are right.

This trip is excellent for the experienced angler but also perfect for introducing kids to fishing or squeezing in some fun on the water during a busy vacation schedule. Start time and location will vary based on tides, best fishing location at the time, and weather!

We can target any inshore or near shore species available. Depending upon time of year some species are likely more available than others.

This is an inshore trip that will target Spotted Sea Trout and Red Drum in the Southport - Bald Head Island areas. A typical trip leaves the dock at Morning Star Marina in Southport, North Carolina. This trip is perfect for 1 or 2 anglers looking to get up early and capitalize on the first light topwater bite. The goal is to catch a few Reds on topwater and have you back to the dock before your family is ready to go about their day! Pickup at 5:30 AM and back to the dock by 7:30-8:00 AM.
