Captain Leon saves the day.

We had planned to go fishing on another boat, but that captain called a few moments before our arrival and told us he had engine problems. I went back onto fishingbooker.com and found Captain Leon. In short order, he met us at his boat and put us on fish all day. Captain Leon knows the area we fished in very well. We caught some very good sized redfish and spotted seatrout. I will definitely call him the next time that I am in the area.

My son and I had the pleasure of fishing with Capt. David Maki on the 21st & 22nd of April 2023, out of MacRaes’s in Homasassa. We both had the time of our lives. We limited out on Spotted Seatrout and Red Drum both days. We also caught keeper Sea Bass and Grunt(yum!). Capt. Maki’s boat and his fishing tackle were all clean and in good condition. He is a great guy and an excellent guide. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to fish in beautiful Citrus County.

The best charter captain on homosassa river we have done several over the years at homosassa and this way by far the best one he took us to so many great spots we caught so many fish he is very professional and knowledgeable. The Best!

My friend and I had the best time scalloping today and having Justin as our captain made it so fun! We saw dolphins and manatees and plenty of scallops. He even helped clean them. We played great music, had a lot of laughs, and he kept us safe with so many other boats in the area. He had a watchful eye! Justin knows the waters well and will help you get your scallop limit! He’ll move and move until you hit the right spots. I highly recommend Justin for your next boat captain for scalloping!

Took my son and sister in law on a charter with Captain Trevor and had a blast. Captain Trevor was down to earth and knew where to find the fish. Came down for a 10 day vacation and this one day took the cake. We will be back and we will be requesting Captain Trevor. Thank you Captain and we will be back soon.
