New Zealand Tarakihi Fishing Charters

If you are on your own or with a small group, this is the trip for you. All gear can be supplied, bring your lunch and we'll do the rest. Ten hours is enough time to go fishing for numerous species **hidden content** here. You'll go bottom fishing in up to 80 metres deep for Tarakihi, Snapper, and more. We will fish from the Mount to Tuhua (Mayor) to Motiti islands and everywhere in between.

This private trip is a great way to spend some quality time with your friends and family. Snapper bite well year round, and can grow super big, some even reach 15 kg. You can enjoy a afternoons fishing, then eat your catch at a restaurant that night. There is plenty of shade, so even minors will enjoy it. The boat is spacious, and up to 4 anglers can come. Bring a hat and sunblock and come.

Leaving at either sunrise or midday, spend 5 hours just off the coast or out to the Hen and Chicks Islands. We can supply your bait and rod hire, or bring your own, or maye you just want to chill out on the water.

Snapper fishing is exciting no matter how experienced you are. Come onboard and go chase these massive tasty fish. You could also get Trevally, John Dory, Kahawai, and many other reef species. Not only that, but you will also see a rich wildlife of the area. Prepare your camera to get a nice shot of dolphins, whales, and the stunning scenery. The crew will tutor you to help you snatch a tasty dinner. It's a nice family activity.

This full day trip will bring you a mixed bag of species. You can get Snapper and Kingfish, as well as other fish swimming around. It could be John Dory, some Trevally, and more. You will have a lot of time to go where the fish are. Depending on the conditions and requirements, you can start fishing already within the first 10 minutes of the departure, or an hour later if you want to reach more distant hot spots. All the gear is supplied onboard. Pack food and drinks, and grab your camera.

Head out to the best reefs around in search of Tarakihi, Snapper, John Dory, Trevally, Pink Moamoa, and more! With the whole day on the water, you're bound to bring in something special. These trips do not include rods, reels, bait, or tackle. There is an additional fee of $50 per person for this.

This shared trip will take you fishing for the King Mackerel. Tea, water, and coffee are all provided. All required equipment is provided by the charter operator. Customers are advised to bring sunscreen, polarized sunglasses, and a waterproof camera.

White Island/Whakaari is our most popular trip by far! Spend a full day fishing the deepwater around one of New Zealand's Most active volcanoes. Target giant species ranging from Kingfish, Bass, Hapuku, and Bluenose. It is a fishing experience you will never forget! Note: Electric reels and rod hire at $50 per person are available on request. If you're not hiring our rods, please ensure your reels are set up for conditions at White Island. Bring your lunch, drinks, and appropriate clothing. Seasonal trip.

You and the crew will leave the marina at a time to be arranged. You'll be supplied with all the tackle and bait as well as fishing licenses, catch cleaning, and food. Join the crew aboard and spend 5 fun hours fishing inshore waters.
