Cudjoe Key Tarpon Fishing Charters

On this trip, you will be targeting Tarpon, Redfish, Snapper, Grouper, and other species that are in season and biting. It's possible to catch Bonefish year-round, especially in winter as long as the water temperature doesn't get too cold (January is the only time when you're not as likely to catch one).

You'll head out early in the morning for 4 hours of fishing before coming back to shore and breaking for the hottest part of the day. Just before sunset, you'll head out again for another 4 hours, maximizing your chances of hooking into the Silver King. Want full 8 hours of backcountry fishing, time on the water allows you to fish and explore further fishing areas. Plus take advantage of tide and current changes. Spend your day fishing for Tarpon, Bonefish, Permit and various other species. Crystal clear waters of the flats and backcountry of the Florida Keys enable sight fishing for your dream fish.

So you would like to catch Tarpon, lots of them. They feed mostly at night. All night! Book a charter with any other Captain and you will be talking about all the shots at fish you had. I load the boat up with LIVE mullet and crabs the evening before and then we go at it all night. For my 6-hour inshore snapper trip. We catch mostly mangroves, mutton snapper, dog snapper, lane snapper yellow jacks, hogfish, porgys, and sometimes red and black grouper. The best times of the year to catch fish for dinner is October through May. The hottest summer months, " June, July, August, and September " the snapper and grouper go offshore to spawn. I use mostly live, cut pinfish, and ballyhoo on light spinning tackle.
