A 6 hour trip (3/4 day) is basically our extended half day trip. You'll get a couple extra hours to fish over a standard half day trip. During March this often is enough time to try a bit for a trophy tarpon (the silver king!) and if things play out right still have time to catch a few snappers for dinner nearby (dinner & a show!) or try something else. If the tarpon fishing is tougher this also gives you a little extra time compared to a half day to hopefully catch that window where they are biting.

We had an awesome day with Captain Dez and crew. We caught fish and they worked hard to keep us on the fish. I wanted to note it was the small things they did that made the day special from the music to the conversation to helping our son reel a tarpon and feel the power of a shark on the end of a hand line. Awesome day!

Good Fishing Trip with Captain Bryce

My wife and I had an enjoyable fishing trip with Captain Bryce. He was personable and easygoing but knowledgeable and thoughtful. We were warned that tarpon season had been prematurely early this year, yet we tried anyway and caught a large grouper, mangrove snapper, and a few shark. Bryce was well trained on the boat and we thoroughly enjoyed the day.

Capt Bryce was wonderful! The water was rough & the tarpon weren’t biting but did catch 2 good size nurse sharks. Capt Bryce made sure it was a good time! Will definitely book with him again!

We caught nine different species of fish. We were catching as soon as we threw the first line over. Ending up releasing a shark and a barracuda. We did walk away with 18 Red Snappers. The only thing we missed out on bucket list was a tarpon but maybe the next time. Highly recommend Capt Buddy for your fishing charter.

My son wanted to catch shark. Not only did we catch shark, but also a 150lb+ Goliath grouper! We had a great time and can’t wait to come back (this time for tarpon). Captain Jake was great!
