South Kingstown Tautog Fishing Charters

We offer a limited number of blackfishing trips from October 20 to December 1. Besides blackfish, we catch seabass, scup, and cod on these trips. Most trips take place in Narragansett Bay in protected waters. Note: we do not pick up from Montauk.

Narragansett Bay Sportfishing runs amazing fishing trips all over the gorgeous coast of Massachusetts. Whether you choose to fish near Block Island, Cape Cod Bay, Great South Channel, or Buzzards Bay – you will surely have a great time on the water.

Price is per person. Need at least 2 people for trip to take place. Target fish will be whatever is running at time of trip. (Striped bass, bluefish, sea bass, scup, fluke, tautog.)

Blackfish, also known locally as tautog, are hard fighting and excellent tasting bottom feeding fish. These fish are resident fish that spend the winter offshore in deep water, returning inshore from spring to late fall. Newport Rhode Island has some of the best fishing on the east coast.
