Le Morne Giant Trevally Fishing Charters

This extended full day trip allows you to go to some of the best fishing grounds off Mauritius, allowing you to experience the island's famous big game fishing to the full. Spend 12 hours on the waters fishing foir species like Blue and Black Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Shark, and Bonito. The captain will provide you with all the fishing equipment, just bring some food and drinks for refreshment, and you're all set for an amazing fishing adventure!

During this trip we'll be targeting both pelagics such as Yellowfin Tuna, Dogtooth Tuna, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Giant Trevally and also bottom fish like Groupers, Emperors, Wrasse and Trevallies. We'll be fishing in drops, wrecks and near F.A.Ds.

Join your captain on this 5-hour adventure, and get ready to explore the waters of Le Morne for some incredible fish! Capt. Labonne loves customizing his trips to suit his guests needs, so let him know if there's a particular species you'd like to target, or a technique you'd like to try. Generally, you can expect to go after big game such as Mahi Mahi, Marlin, Wahoo, and Tuna. You'll start fishing just minutes after departing the dock. Rods, reels, bait, and tackle are included.

100 miles offshore from the stunning island of Mauritius lie the Outerbanks. Here, the waters get incredibly deep and some of the ocean's most prized creatures like to hide from the world. Get your fish on over a grand total of 40 hours as 4 of you stay onboard the comfortable vessel, making the most of your holiday. Test your angling skills and push your strength to the limit as you go after Sailfish, Marlin, Wahoo, Tuna, Spearfish, Mahi Mahi, and many more on a real test of endurance.

Three hours of jigging and three hours of popping.

During this trip, you'll be targeting both pelagics such as Yellowfin Tuna, Dogtooth Tuna, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Giant Trevally and also bottom fish for Groupers, Emperors, Wrasse, and Trevallies. For this type of fishing, we fish in drops starting from 10mts to 400mts, wrecks, and near F.A.Ds.

You'll meet your captain at 06:50 for a briefing session and embark at 07:00. Soon after, breakfast with hot tea, coffee, soft drinks, and a light meal will be served. When you hit the hotspot, you'll thread the lines for trolling and start fishing. If any Bonito are caught, you'll use them as baits - living baits will increase your chances of catching Marlin.

(you can bring your gear(rod and reels) for a better experience (best popper will be provided) and drinks. Bring your snacks or lunch. Offshore fishing will depend on the weather conditions
