St. Simons Island Tripletail Fishing Charters

Give yourself a couple of extra hours and spend more time at the hottest spot of the day. This extended trip will give you more shots at your target and a chance to land some seriously big fish. Your main targets will be popular local species such as Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Blacktip Shark, and more.

Located in Fernandina Beach, FL, Spartina Tails is a charter fishing company that fishes the coastal waters and backwaters of beautiful Amelia Island. Captain Matt Harrelson is proud to offer other trips to accommodate each individual party’s needs.

This trip can take you fishing either in the gorgeous inshore waters of Jekyll Island, going after Spotted Seatrout and Redfish, or out into the nearshore waters, where you will target large Sharks and Tarpon. All required equipment is supplied by the charter operator.

You can never go wrong with some inshore fishing in the morning and that's exactly what this 4-hour trip is all about. The ride to the best spots will take only 15-25 minutes and you'll get to battle Sharks,Redfish, and many other cool inshore species.

This trip is great for anglers of all skill levels, including children. You'll be fishing in protected waters around Jekyll, Cumberland, and St. Simons Islands. Your target species for the day include Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Flounder, and Black Drum. Fishing tackle and licenses are included in the price, so just bring sun protection, as well as snacks and drinks, and you're all set. Please note, the departure time may vary depending on tide conditions.

Fish the inshore for Redfish,Tripletail,Trout, Flounder,Black Drum, and Sheephead. Nearshore targets Cobia, Black Seabass,Spanish &King Mackeral, Barracuda, Amberjacks,and some snapper species. 4 People Max

Nearshore beach/inlet fishing for Tarpon, Bull Redfish, big Black Drum, and bycatch sharks. Preferably 2 people but can do 3.

All prices cover four anglers. There are additional costs to add a 5th or 6th person. Prices are for the boat, not person! When considering a charter, consider the size of the boat. All boats are not created equal!During the 6-hour trip, you'll be bottom fishing. We are fishing offshore 20–30 miles on reefs and artificial and natural wrecks.
