Wrightsville Beach Yellowfin Tuna Fishing Charters

This 12-13-hour trip will take you up to 60 miles offshore to the blue water! Depending on the time of year, we will be fishing for Blackfin Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, and Mahi Mahi. Also a possibility of occasional Sailfish jumping the bait!

We leave the dock early, as it takes 2 plus hours to reach the gulfstream. We start off our day trolling for the poligic fish as the sun is just rising off the horizon. We finish off our day bottom fishing for our meat fish such as groupers, B liners, cobia, (red-snapper when in season) and much more. We always provide waters to drink. Make sure to bring a cooler with your food, snacks and other bevereges, and to transport your catch home. Dont forget hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen lotion!

If you're busy in the morning, but you still want to grab a chance to fish in the afternoon, this 4-hour trip is the way to do it. You are only one short boat ride away from beauties like Spanish Mackerel and King Mackerel plus many others depending on the time of year, so why not make the most of the opportunity?

The blue water is about 60 miles offshore of our coast. We will be targeting Black Fin Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and the occasional Sailfish. These types of species are seasonal to certain times of the year so check with us to see what's biting.

Our personal favorite trip. We will be running about 55-60 miles out to the gulfstream to troll with heavy tackle for Tuna, Wahoo, Mahi and Sailfish. This trip can be great year round and is also very good in the winter months for Wahoo and Tuna. We will also do a little bottom fishing on this trip if the trolling is slow.

This trip will take you all the way to the gulf stream, 65 miles out.

This trip allows us to travel out to the Atlantic Ocean's Gulf Stream. This South to North flow of warm water is where some of North Carolina's most prized fish reside. We'll be using big tackle to do battle with big fish. Different species are more prominent during different times of the year so be sure to ask if you are looking to target something specifically. A typical 12-hour trip consists of trolling and bottom fishing unless the trolling bite is hot or the group strictly wants to bottom fish.

Weather and seas dependent, slow pitch jigging in the deep blue water 300' to 700'. If top water action is observed, trolling and sight casting is on the table. Clients wil cover the cost of lost jigs.

This trip is for those looking to get after sportfish that the nutrient and bait-rich gulf stream attracts. Action is generally fast and furious with various Pelagic species and exciting bites leading to test your strength as they pull drag, jump, and fight. We are generally fishing 50-75 miles offshore. In the Gulf Stream, we are targeting Pelagic species. Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, and Wahoo! We troll a variety of baits including lures and ballyhoo.

Gulf Stream trips are the ultimate offshore fishing adventure, taking us far offshore into the warm blue waters where some of the ocean's largest and most exciting game fish live. These waters are known for incredible variety and the chance to target species such as Mahi-Mahi, Wahoo, Tuna, Sailfish, King Mackerel, and other powerful pelagic fish. We primarily troll offshore waters while keeping an eye out for weed lines, temperature breaks, and floating structure where predator fish feed.
